It was so fun to have this much vibrant color in a design! The coral, pink, fuschia and orange tones really popped and were fabulous for Courtney + Frankie’s summer wedding at The White Room’s Villa Blanca in downtown St. Augustine
Fantasy Floral Details:
Bouquets
Three rose varieties- Nena (Soft pink), Amsterdam (papaya), and dark pink, white lisianthus, peach stock, peach hypericum berries, and Italian Ruscus greenery
Ceremony
The welcome signage was accented with a cluster of roses and greenery.
Aisle chairs were decorated with greenery and a single rose, accented with hypericum berries. Coral rose petals also lined the walkway
The arbor had a large one-sided spray arrangement with hydrangea, roses, greenery, and berries. We love how bold the choice was and it really accented the rich wood beautifully!
Reception
We created low centerpieces in gold vases, using the same florals seen in the bouquets & ceremony design, but with a wider range of greenery.
The semi-naked cake was accented with roses and greenery, as well as a delicate wreath of babies breath of the base of the rustic cake stand.
We are thrilled how the entire day’s design came together, and of course, we couldn’t be happier for the wonderful newlyweds!

Catalina & David’s Treasury on the Plaza was a beautiful mix of traditional and glamorous. From Catalina’s stunning ballgown to David’s black tux, it was a timeless, classic affair with feminine details that we loved!
If you follow our blog, you know how much we love this venue! The Treasury has such gorgeous architecture and it’s such a beautiful blend of clean, classic line and modern materials. It lends itself so well to a variety of themes and color palettes. The happy couple selected one of the year’s most popular combinations- pink and gold!
Fantasy Floral Details:
Catalina’s bouquet was a traditional round shape, full of pink and blush roses.
For the flower girl, we create a small kissing ball. This is a great alternative for rose petals (as is a fairy wand).
We used a mix of white, ivory, blush and pink rose in the majority of the arrangements. Adding touches of hydrangea, babies breath and spider mums to the tall centerpieces for a full, lush creation!

Our friends at Southern Charm Events recently posted about Kristi + Jason’s wedding, and we loved that they had to say so much, we had to quote them on their description! “Kristi + Jason’s Bowing Oaks Plantation winter wedding was absolute luxury, while still being completely fun and just a bit quirky too! Kristi went for a full glamor look. And let us tell you, she was stunning! Jason about fell over when we saw her for the first time.”
Isn’t that summary so perfect for this event?! the couple’s colorful pastel color palette included teal, blue, pink and purple, with pops of red. Kristi’s bridesmaids each wore a gown in their choice of color and style, which combined the entire palette together beautifully!
Fantasy Floral Details
Florals were a mix of red, blue, lavender, pink, white, red and greenery. We used thistle, roses, delphinium, miniature mums, hydrangea, and eucalyptus.
The aisle was lined with lanterns and red rose petals.
For the reception, we created arrangements in a variety of shapes and sizes to adorning each table. Mostly low options- some in more compact styles in a vase, others more sprawling, spray style to stretch a greater length of the table and a few tall arrangments to make sure of the great ceiling height at Bowing Oaks. The combination of low centerpiece with “spray” is a great option for those who like the overall feel of garland, but also love something that feels more traditionally “centerpiece”. It combines the best of both worlds and gives you more flexibility for types of floral and foliage that can be used.
Southern Charm provided beautiful accent decor- including the lanterns noted above, centerpiece vessels, farm tables, vintage sofa & chairs, and linens.

Paul & Nateesha’s timeless wedding day hosted at two downtown St. Augustine venues- the Cathedral Basilica and Treasury on the Plaza. The vendor team was fantastic, the decor choices beautiful and the ambiance perfection!
Fantasy Floral Details
Nateesha’s bouquet was created in a cascading style in all white florals & greenery. The arrangement included lisianthus, cushion mums, caspia, as well as eucalyptus, ivy, and fern.
It doesn’t get more timeless than monochromatic florals and metallics. By opting for this foundational palette, it’s easy to “modernize” the design with flower choice or floral silhouette. Nateesha’s bouquet ultimately had a “spring-y” boho vibe and we think it all turned out so lovely!
Bridesmaids carried hydrangea & greenery – it contrasted beautifully with their smokey gray floor-length bridesmaids gowns (aren’t the various necklines & strap details fabulous?!)..
For the reception, the couple took advantage of the sky-high ceilings and clean, crisp, modern architecture, by deciding on tall centerpieces (Yay! We LOVE this style)!
Centerpieces were fashioned on a tall silver candle stand with lots of cascading greenery and lush, full hydrangea, as well as a variety of delicate white blooms for texture and dimension. This makes a big statement while keeping your sightline relatively clear for your guests.
The head table (and another family style table) was lined in a white floral garland and accented with a “K” flower monogram.

Anna + Phillip’s intimate, elopement style Castle Ottis wedding was absolutely breathtaking! Castle Ottis is an extremely unique St. Augustine ceremony venue and perfect for smaller weddings during the Fall, Winter and Spring.
Fantasy Floral Details
Anna’s bouquet was a bright pastel mix of succulents, pink spray roses, peach garden roses, lavender sweet peas (such a dreamy floral choice), anemone, freesia, caspia, and dried lavender. Not only did is smell heavenly, but the symbolism of the variety in blooms included blissful pleasure, protection against evil and ill, devotion, grace and friendship. Such important qualities in life-long love & marriage! The bouquet also had just the right variety of delicate and hearty blooms to withstand a little of the beach heat & wind!
Phillip’s boutonniere was crafted with delicate pink spray roses and accented with seeded eucalyptus.

Now, before you have an anxiety attack reading this (because we can see how it could make your heart race and your palms sweat), know that this story, when all said and done, ends happily! But we have to give you the not-so-happy story that leads up to this memorable day to appreciate how beautifully it came together.
Amanda and Edin faced a natural disaster while wedding planning, that set them back nearly six months. As they watched their wedding day approach on the calendar, they watched a massive hurricane, not so affectionately knowns as Matthew, approach the east coast of Florida. Due to hit St. Augustine eye on. And boy did it ever. The entire downtown area was flooded – with most of the businesses in this quaint destination location under four feet of water. In the wake of the storm, between the storm surge and incessant rain that caused severe flooding, the town was without power and public water for days (for some, weeks) following the storm. They faced the absolute worst case scenarios for a Florida wedding planned during hurricane season. Having to reschedule the entire occasion.
Fortunately, the entire vendor team was local and close to the tragedy. Our hearts hurt with them! We didn’t have to image what they were going through because we knew. Fortunately, they also had an amazing wedding planner, and with more than a few phone calls + emails, the had a new date set and planning commenced. Again.
Fantasy Floral Details
The color combination was feminine and soft- lots of pink hues paired with bright and creamy whites. Florals were an important element to the couple (which, of course, we fully support). They wanted lush, full blooms with high impact.
Amanda’s cascading style bouquet included white dendrobium orchids, white calla lilies, Esperance roses, blush spray roses and greenery.
Bridesmaids carried white football mums, white hypericum berries, blush + white spray roses, and bright pink roses.
The ceremony chuppah & reception centerpieces included the same florals already mentioned, as well as white hydrangea, babies breath, blush garden roses, soft blush pink roses, white button mums and white chrysanthemums.
With the exception of Amanda’s bouquet, all the florals had full, rounded shapes. It was lovely and luxurious.
The couple was thrilled with the result. And although it was hard to admit, it was worth the wait! The weathered a tough storm, and we have faith that they can get through anything in their marriage!
Ps- we highly recommend wedding insurance year round, but especially from June 1- November 30.

If this yellow wedding doesn’t put a little pep in your step- we don’t know what will! Yellow is the happiest of hues and a perfect fit for Jenny & Adam’s spring wedding reception at The White Room in downtown St. Augustine.
The couple selected one of St. Augustine’s most popular downtown venues for their wedding reception. The White Room is absolutely gorgeous. It has a timeless, southern elegance ambiance. From the exposed brick, large white columns, breathtaking water view and glamours finishing touches (the crystal chandelier and fabric draping are exquisite), there isn’t much not to love!
Fantasy Floral Details:
We used a mix of yellow roses, white spray roses, and yellow tulips with a greenery base for the bouquets- each wrapped with a creamy ivory ribbon. Jenny’s was twice the size of the bridesmaids and also included daffodils (one of our favorite spring blooms symbolizing new beginnings/rebirth). Be it size, floral choice or color combination, we encourage the bride to have a bouquet that is unique to her.
Jenny & her flower girls wore a fresh floral accent their hair. White for Jenny (to match Adam) and yellow for the lovely littles.
The groom’s boutonniere was made with a white rose, while the groomsmen wore yellow.
Centerpieces of the same florals were created in a mix of low and mid-height. They were the perfect pop of color against the white linen and deep mahogany chiavari chairs.
The simple, one-tier textured buttercream cake was topped with fresh yellow garden & spray roses, accented with Lily of the Incas (more commonly known as Peruvian lilies, and symbolic of devotion).
We wish the couple happiness, eternal devotion, the joy of lifelong friendship and true love- just as their flowers symbolize!

Today’s Multi-Cultural Destination Wedding will leave you in awe!
Rewa & Michaels’ wedding is a fantastic fusion of two cultures coming together for one love. This lovely couple resides in Atlanta but dreamed of celebrating their big day in Florida at the incredible Club Continental. Combining Rewa’s Hindu background & Michael’s Christian background they decided to honor both of their upbringings with 2 ceremonies.
Rewa’s traditional wedding ceremony was nothing short of mesmerizing, her family provided the customary Mandap decorated with vibrant fabric & banana leaves. These weddings featured 2 outfit changes from stunning red & gold embroidered traditional Hindu attire to a beautiful turquoise sari & a snazzy gray suit.
We decorated the large altar arrangements with white mums, white hydrangea, white snapdragons, red carnations & red mokara orchids. Rewa’s bridal bouquet was positively sensational with red anemones, seeded euch, white hydrangea & red hypericum berries and was then wrapped in gold for a finishing touch.
The reception hall was adorned in red & gold accents, from the gold table linens to the red candles to our floral centerpieces. The centerpieces were in gold compotes with red mokara orchids, red carnations, red asiatic lilies white hydrangea & red hypericum berries, everything was so colorful & warm. We can’t forget the eye-catching 3 tiered buttercream cake featuring small red blooms & berries pulling every detail together!
Appleseed Photography captured such wonderful moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
