Wedding at The Oldest House, St Augustine

This is an absolutely enchanting celestial themed wedding at the Oldest House Gardens in St Augustine.  Here is the beautiful bride with her bouquet.

All of the pictures were taken by the amazing Folk House Photo, www.folkhousephoto.com

The Oldest House is such a magical spot to get married.

The bouquets have Hearts roses, Dark Blue delphinums, Blackberry scabiosa, Purple kale, White football mums, White stock, White limonium, Dark pink wax flower and lots mixed greenery.

The jewel toned bridesmaids dresses are super pretty!

Such a pretty view from the sweetheart table. Look at those gorgeous trees!

The crescent moon arch is serving two purposes a seating chart with names on hanging stars and also a great spot for photos. It sits between the sign-in table and the cocktail tables and is one of the first florals that are seen as you walk from the ceremony, talk about a WOW factor.

This is the perfect way to dine, surrounded by soft mounds of flowers. How dreamy!

The sweetheart table is situated between two head tables filled with lush flower centerpieces. The celestial plates and gold flatware are so beautiful!

The gold boxes really elevate the look of the long centerpieces and are perfect on the purple sashes.

A great money saving tip is to reuse the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces. Here all the components are placed around with an empty vase for the bouquet to simply be placed in after the ceremony.  The little florals around the base really finish off the look.

The picture below was taken by me, that’s why the quality is different. But it had to be included, just look at it! I love the potting bench sign in table.

Awww the bride and groom are cutting the cake under the stars. This is so romantic!

The beautiful dessert spread was created by the super talented baker ChocoLatte in St Augustine, www.chocolattes47.com   It smells soooo good!

A close up of some of the desserts….YUM!

This is such a wonderful way to commemorate this beautiful union. Would be really cool to take a picture at every anniversary next to it.

Thanks for spending some time in the flowers! Now back to the real world.  🙂

The White Room wedding

We get a sneak peak at the first look. This is one of my favorite moments of a wedding.

Beautiful St Augustine by the river. One of the many great things about hosting a wedding at The White Room is that you get the best of St Augustine. As you walk around historic downtown to find the perfect photo spot tourists will congratulate you and give their well wishes. So fun!

The first four pictures are by the incredible-

Awww that smile says it all!! Sooo sweet!

This is what true love looks like…

Let’s take a moment to look at his tie! Seriously that is gorgeous!

OK so the pictures following are taken by me on my cell phone.

She is radiant!! Her cascade bouquet has roses, veronica, lisianthus, moonstone roses and a mix of eucalyptus greenery.

The low centerpieces were a cluster of cylinder vases filled with whimsical babies breath under water with candles set on a bed of greenery and roses.

This gorgeous mirror is in the ballroom at The White Room and is the perfect spot for a vase arrangement to reflect.

The River House Wedding

Take a look at this gorgeous wedding at The River House which is located on the banks of the Matanzas River in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, Florida.

The bride and her bridesmaids look so incredible with those shawls.

This beautiful moment and following two pictures were captured by the superbly talented –

https://www.thecapps.co/

The bouquets are a mix of white moonstone roses, ranunculus, roses, lisianthus, stock, trachelium and mixed eucalyptus.

The bride and groom are so precious! His boutonniere is a white rose with greenery.

Now that’s how to make an exit. Ahhh the sparklers are so fun!

The River House has such a beautiful view!

The aisle flowers bring your eye right up to the most magical ceremony spot, Classic white in urn topped pillars. The ribbons on the chair decor were dancing with the wind.

Flowers are Hybrid delphinium, Roses, Moonstone roses, Football mums, Trachelium and a mix of Eucayptus.

Greenery swagged on the Bride and Groom’s chairs are such a great touch, tying in the boxwood wall. In case you are wondering the neon name sign was ordered from –

I wish I had a picture of the centerpieces lit! It was magical! The ballroom at The River House is such an incredible backdrop.

This beautiful cake, which smells amazing was created by Publix. We added some sprigs of eucalyptus and assorted roses. The little throw bouquet is laying on the table beside.

Rebekah Marie and Alex’s World Golf Hall of Fame Wedding

Rebekah and Alex’s ceremony was held at the Beautiful World Golf Hall of Fame. One of the things I love about this venue is that they offer everything in one spot which makes it easy for the guests. There are various locations for the ceremony, reception and also the rehearsal dinner.

The ceremony was held overlooking the iconic pool of unity, which Sarah Hedden Photography captured a great shot of below. This cutie patootie couple is so adorable and their smiles are contagious.

The bride and bridesmaid’s bouquets were loosely arranged with a variety of blush roses, larkspur and mixed greenery. I personally love the texture in these bouquets and the roses are gorgeous.

One thing that is great about having shades of blush as opposed to just one color is that they stand out nicely against the bridesmaid’s dresses. That is something to always keep in mind when choosing floral colors. Even the greenery helps break up the colors nicely.

The Groom and Groomsmen’s boutonnieres had a single blush rose with greenery. I really love the classic tuxes with a subtle pop of color which looks good on it’s own and also ties everything together when combined with the other florals, dresses and decor.

Ahhh we are to my favorite part… the aisle. This was so beautiful for many reasons. First the softly patterned scarves added a blast of personality, Secondly the scarves were bought while Rebekah was on vacation with her bridesmaids which is super special and Thirdly they added movement to the aisle as the soft breeze blew through. Always, always, always incorporate things that are personal and special into your wedding day, those are the things that make the decorations memorable. The ceremony arrangements were a mixture of roses, hydrangeas, larkspur, babies breath, caspia, orgonia, myrtle and ivy. The classic style of the arrangements complimented the overall vibe of the ceremony.

Below is a great shot of how the flowers overall frame the whole event, the groomsman’s boutonniere, the bridesmaid’s bouquet and the ceremony arrangements. Also it is worth noting that the flowers added a great backdrop without obstructing the beautiful view and can be reused at the reception later.

Oh my goodness!! All this cuteness!!! Look at her shoes… The ring bearer and flower girl making their exit.

I absolutely adored the streamer exit, So Fun!! My cat Ruby would have loved this!

Rebekah chose to have half the reception tables decorated with a low centerpiece and half with a tall centerpiece.  The reception was held at the Sheraton, Deerwood which has tall ceilings and having a mix looked awesome.

The laser cut butterfly boxes were a really nice touch. Each one had a LED votive in it so they looked really whimsical and fun.

You can see the boxes a little better in the picture below. The centerpieces had a few shades of blush roses, white hydrangeas, purple caspia, babies breath and mixed greenery. The tall centerpieces were placed on top of a clear vase which allowed the flowers to shine.

…and as always the throw bouquet has the Fantasy signature long ribbon tails.

Silvia + Jacob’s Epping Forest Yacht Club Wedding

Silvia and Jacob’s Epping Forest Yacht Club wedding was a waterfront design in vibrant blues, purples, green and white. It was a pleasure working with the couple and the vendors!

Fantasy Floral Design Details

Bouquets: Silvia’s cascading bouquet was made with blue delphinium, white roses, Asiatic lilies and just a sprig of greenery. It smelled wonderful! Her bridesmaids carried a cluster of light blue hydrangea.

Ceremony:  We added blue hydrangea clusters to the aisle chairs- the pop of blue was so pretty and really helped draw the eye to the altar. We also made a stunning garland to define the ceremony- we accented the greenery with orchids and roses, then added huge lilies at the corners. We used much of the same floral in the built-in urn (a fun feature at Epping Forest).

Reception:  The sweetheart table stole the show! We made a lush garland with lots of roses, hydrangea (mini and full size), roses and lilies to drape in the front. It was also flanked by two large arrangments on white pillars and added another on the floor.  It had so much WOW facotr! The centerpieces were made with the same types of florals, but also included orchids. The purply-blue blooms looked so pretty with the pops of white and greenery.

Devin and Chris’s Treasury on the Plaza Wedding

If you love pink, then you are going to love Devin and Chris’s Treasury on the Plaza wedding in downtown St. Augustine!

We have to say, It’s not every day that we get to work with a bride that is a Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleader! And she and Chris were just the sweetest!

Fantasy Floral Details

Bouquets: Devin’s bouquet was incredibly dramatic, while also being so pretty and feminine! We used a ton of eucalyptus (seeded and silver dollar style)  greenery to give it lots of fullness and used three shade of pink roses, as well as white roses for the floral element. The sprig of deeper pink is called pink limonium, which is in the caspia family of flowers. The ladies carried much smaller versions of Devin’s bouquet, with less greenery and more pink!

Groom’s Boutonniere: One large soft pink roses with two white spray roses, accented with babies breath. A classic!

Flower Girls: Precious flower crowns of babies breath! The little ladies also tosses soft pink rose petals.

Centerpieces: We made tall, lush arrangements with LOTS of greenery – including ferns with pink and white roses, as well as accents of babies breath and pink limonium.

Cake: A cascade of pink and white blooms. Fresh florals on a clean, classic white cake will never go out of style!

Ashley + Rob’s Treasury on the Plaza Wedding

Fantasy Floral Details

Bride’s Bouquet: A lush combination of pink, the softest peach and white roses. We sure do love roses! They’re so versatile.  We actually spray painted the seeded eucalyptus to give it the perfect pop of navy. The contrast is gorgeous, don’t you think?!

Bridesmaid’s bouquet: Cream roses, babies breath and spray painted seeded eucalyptus.

Ceremony: We created four (almost identical) arrangements that we placed on columns at the front and back of the aisle. We used white snapdragons for height, dyed eucalyptus leaves for added the pop of navy and roses, hydrangea + babies breath to fill in more pink and white.

Centerpieces: The large ceremony arrangements were repurposed on tall gold stands, as well as bouquets.
