Romantic Outdoor Nautical Wedding – Ponte Vedra Inn & Club

It’s not everyday that your only daughter gets married. When an extraordinary occasion occurs you need an extraordinary event location to bring it all together. That’s why for Katie & Mark’s Romantic Outdoor Nautical Wedding they chose none other than the luxurious oceanfront Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.

Their Romantic Outdoor Nautical Wedding was positively a dream come true. Fun nautical details can be found throughout their wedding. A custom sailing knot designed by Ginny Krauss & Patricia from Fancy Girl Designs became their trademark logo. From the bridesmaids monogrammed robes to the fun cornhole board to the signature sticker this personalized touch was unforgettable.

Katie was the epitome of perfection in her strapless lace gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her bridal bouquet featured soft pink garden roses with pops of bubblegum pink roses, cream colored ranunculus & touches of anemones. Keeping with the nautical theme, Mark sported a navy suit jacket with a blue striped tie & boat shoes. His boutonniere was a perfect single anemone bud.

For their outdoor ceremony we transformed the oceanfront courtyard into a floral dream. Stunning green foliage intertwined with pink roses was draped over the balustrade and coordinating floral swag adorned the guests seating. As magical as their outdoor ceremony was decorated the reception hall was over the top amazing showcasing a floral wall. The strinking floral partition with lush hydrangeas, roses & lots of green leafage became the perfect backdrop for the bride & grooms table. A cascading runner of roses & cream hydrangeas swept over the table while shimmering gold fabric was woven down the back of the head chairs and decorated with even more beautiful blooms.

Lush pink & gold accents were used in creating their magnificent soiree. Tall floral centerpieces, pink glistening table linens and gold votives are just a few of the special touches. Dan Harris perfectly captured Katie & Mark’s big day and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Romantic Plantation Wedding

On a lovely September day Nicole & Elisha said, “I Do” to an everlasting love together at their Romantic Plantation Wedding at Bowing Oaks Plantation.

Nicole’s parents Karen & John just so happen to own the event planning business Mugwumps that helped make their day even more special. Set under a rustic alter gathered with family & friends, wedding photographer Jamie owner of Couture Studios captured every magical moment of their romantic plantation wedding. Dreamy hues of purple were used throughout this wedding. Nicole’s bridal bouquet was created using lavender roses, dark purple lisianthus and baby’s breath. Her bridesmaids wore one shoulder knee length plum dresses & carried bouquets of light green hydrangea. The centerpieces and altar arrangements contained lavender roses, light green hydrangea, purple liatrus,  lavender pom poms and baby’s breath. The mason jar floral centerpieces were placed on wooden slices and the arrangements used for the ceremony were placed on wine barrels in keeping with the overall rustic look of Bowing Oaks. The scrumptious buttercream cake was adorned with purple blooms. Right before the ceremony the rain started to became very strong but they didn’t miss a beat, the bridal party entered with umbrellas and everything went off as scheduled. Jamie was able to snap amazing pictures that were almost made even better by the rain!

Everything about Nicole & Elisha’s wedding was positively spectacular and we are so happy to have been apart of it.

Princess & Brian’s Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens Wedding

On a Saturday in May, Princess & Brian said, “I do” in a beautiful church ceremony. They chose us, A Fantasy in Flowers to make all their floral dreams come true.

Epping Forest Yacht Club Wedding | Adrienne & Colin

Adrienne & Colin’s wedding was nothing short of breathtaking! Their intimate wedding was held at the romantic historical Epping Forest surrounded  and we were lucky enough to create all the lovely florals.

All eyes were on Adrienne in her strapless lace gown & flowing locks, so we knew her bouquet needed to be nothing short of amazing. Luscious pink esperance roses with wisps of tiny white blooms, eucalyptus & fronds created her perfect bridal bouquet. Colin’s boutonniere was made with petite roses and vibrant green mums. For the ceremony we transformed the stunning outdoor space with a whimsical floral aisle and oversized urns brimming with hydrangeas. The reception hall tables were decorated with floral runners, tall gold candelabras & sparkling tealights.

We positively loved being apart of their big day!

St. Augustine Wedding Florist | River House | Chris & Janice

Chris & Janice had a beautiful wedding at one of our favorite venues in St. Augustine right along the river. The River House provides majestic like views and it surely makes our job that much easier when we get to set up our florals. Janice opted to go for hues of light pink & ivory for her wedding day florals and we just love how beautiful she looks as well as her bridal party with our bouquets. We also provided florals for the ceremony arch as well as all of the florals for the reception. In order to match their Italian theme for the their wedding, we added olive branches to everything for the greenery, even on the cake!

Bridal Fantasy Bridal Show Photo Shoot

We recently did a photo shoot with Robert Max Photography at a private residence in Avondale for some ads for the upcoming upcoming bridal show at Sawgrass Marriott on August 24, 2014.

It turned out gorgeous!

The theme was “secret garden” and we had a lot of fun with these flower bouquet designs.

We also did the doorway with flowers. It was a beautiful touch that could be incorporated into a garden or small wedding. We could also do something similar on arches or chuppahs.

We recently had the chance to participate in a photo shoot with Angel Esparar Photography at Epping Forest Yacht Club.

Crosswater Hall at Nocatee Wedding with Peacock themed flowers! North Florida Florist

This beautiful peacock themed wedding was shot by Angelita Esparar Photography.

Abby and Andre went into detail with us about all the little details about their wedding. And the best part?

Exchanging of our written vows.  My husband’s vows were so sweet and sincere that it had our guests in tears.

We met through mutual friends over a game of Scrabble!  We became acquaintances and it was not until a year later when we actually started dating.

And the proposal:

He took me to a fancy French restaurant that I had been dying to go to.  After dinner, we went for a walk in Falls Park in Greenville, SC and found a bench with a view of the waterfall and bridge.  We sat and enjoyed the view and talked about our future.  That’s when he got on one knee, presented the gorgeous ring and proposed.

The vision for Abby’s flowers:

I wanted bold colors that also incorporated the peacock theme.  I also wanted orchids because of their bright colors and how classy they look.  I wanted my bouquets to stand out and they did!

I found A Fantasy in Flowers through Wedding Wire.  They were the first florists I met with and Amy did a great job listening to my wants and my vision.  She was easy to work with and offered great ideas and suggestions.  I met with a few other florists afterwards, but they did not compare to A Fantasy in Flowers.  I knew I had to book them.  

I was very comfortable working with Susan and Amy.  They listened to my vision and offered ideas to help incorporate my theme.

What tips would you give others planning a wedding?

Try not to stress over the little things, because on the day of, none of that will even matter.  It is important to focus on why you are planning a wedding.. and that is to marry the love of your life.
