Devin and Chris’s Treasury on the Plaza Wedding

If you love pink, then you are going to love Devin and Chris’s Treasury on the Plaza wedding in downtown St. Augustine!

We have to say, It’s not every day that we get to work with a bride that is a Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleader! And she and Chris were just the sweetest!

Fantasy Floral Details

Bouquets: Devin’s bouquet was incredibly dramatic, while also being so pretty and feminine! We used a ton of eucalyptus (seeded and silver dollar style)  greenery to give it lots of fullness and used three shade of pink roses, as well as white roses for the floral element. The sprig of deeper pink is called pink limonium, which is in the caspia family of flowers. The ladies carried much smaller versions of Devin’s bouquet, with less greenery and more pink!

Groom’s Boutonniere: One large soft pink roses with two white spray roses, accented with babies breath. A classic!

Flower Girls: Precious flower crowns of babies breath! The little ladies also tosses soft pink rose petals.

Centerpieces: We made tall, lush arrangements with LOTS of greenery – including ferns with pink and white roses, as well as accents of babies breath and pink limonium.

Cake: A cascade of pink and white blooms. Fresh florals on a clean, classic white cake will never go out of style!

Fantasy Floral Details

Bride’s Bouquet: A lush combination of pink, the softest peach and white roses. We sure do love roses! They’re so versatile.  We actually spray painted the seeded eucalyptus to give it the perfect pop of navy. The contrast is gorgeous, don’t you think?!

Bridesmaid’s bouquet: Cream roses, babies breath and spray painted seeded eucalyptus.

Ceremony: We created four (almost identical) arrangements that we placed on columns at the front and back of the aisle. We used white snapdragons for height, dyed eucalyptus leaves for added the pop of navy and roses, hydrangea + babies breath to fill in more pink and white.

Centerpieces: The large ceremony arrangements were repurposed on tall gold stands, as well as bouquets.

Seeing Purple!

We recently created this lush purple centerpiece for a home-session for a few of our industry friends and just had to share the beauty with you! We actually want to let you in on a little secret too- this lovely arrangement is a mix of real and fake flowers! Gasp! We bet you wouldn’t have known if we didn’t spill the beans. But, we like to give you the truth around here, so there it is!

Our client had a specific color palette in mind (you guessed it, purple + plum) that can sometimes be challenging to create without a little help. See below for the details on what you see!

Fantasy Floral Details

Fake Floral Choices: purple hydrangea, lime + deep plum/eggplant ranunculus, lavender waxflower

Real Floral Choices: Roses, greenery, thistle, status (the fluffy deep purple-blue filler), aster (the petite purple flower with a yellow center), Alstroemeria (the delicate freckled flower in the same shade as the rose)

Now, we will be the first to say that we always prefer and encourage the real deal. Nothing truly compares to fresh florals. But, sometimes we have to stretch the boundaries a bit to give our clients the visual look they want. So, silk it is!

Kayla + Jonathan’s Lightner Museum Wedding

For Kayla & Jonathan’s winter wedding, it was all about winter white! The couple hosted their ceremony in the courtyard of the Lightner Museum, during the annual Nights of Lights celebration in St. Augustine (this runs from late November to January). We handled their personal flowers for the wedding day.

Fantasy Floral Details

Bouquets: For the bride, we used a mixture of white garden roses, brunia berries, dusty miller, anemone and stock in a free-form, natural style (what some might refer to as garden style). For the bridesmaids, we used less white and more textures (extra dusty Miller and dried floral for color contrast)

Boutonniere: White spray roses and dusty miller.

Amanda + Ryan – Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort Wedding

We should call Amanda and Ryan’s wedding a fuchsia fantasy because the gorgeous, rich pink color is an incredibly romantic, rich touch!  We love when our couple use color and this Sawgrass Marriott wedding was no exception!

Fantasy Floral Details

Bride’s Bouquet: pink Roses, deep fuchsia ranunculus, fuchsia calla lilies, white tulips, white stock and touches of white hydrangea

Bridesmaids Bouquets: White hydrangea, babies breath, white stock and a pop of fuchsia from the calla lilies.

Boutonniere: A classic choice- a single white rose with just a sprig of greenery!

Ceremony: Two large arrangements with lots of fluffy white hydrangea, greenery and stock, with pops of fuchsia roses (similar to what we did for the bridesmaids bouquets). We also adorned the chairs with sweet little bouquets of stock, roses, babies breath and greenery, wrapped with tulle. We also lined the aisle with petals.

Reception: the bouquets and ceremony arrangements were repurposed for reception flowers. We also added a three clear vases with floating roses + candles to several tables.

Cake: A lush mix of fuchsia roses and white tulips.

Timeless, Classic Florals for Margaret + Steven’s White Room Wedding

If you follow our blog or any of our social platforms, you probably already know that we love working at the White Room and all white weddings hold a special place in our heart! Our focus of Margaret and Steven’s big day was the personal flowers- most often used to refer to the boutonniere, bouquets and anything else worn or carried by the bridal party.

Fantasy Floral Details

Bouquet: Lots and lots of greenery with crisp white traditional + spray roses! The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the same. We love how big and beautiful Margaret’s design was!

Flowergirl: Flower crown/head wreath of roses, seeded eucalyptus and greenery. Absolutely precious!

Boutonniere: Spray rose and waxflower in a soft pink + blush.

We really enjoyed creating these beauties for another timeless St. Augustine wedding! Are you getting married in St. Augustine? We’d love to talk with you about your floral dreams!

Teresa + Tyler’s Florida Yacht Club Wedding

We loved working with Teresa and Tyler! They’re such a sweet couple with great style. The big day was timeless and classic! They were married at the Immaculate Conception church in Jacksonville, with a reception following at the Florida Yacht Club.

Fantasy Floral Details

Bride’s Bouquet: Garden and spray roses in blush, pink and white with white peony accents with lots of silver dollar eucalyptus for a modern shape.

Bridesmaid’s Bouquets: Pink and white roses with a touch of silver dollar eucalyptus.

Reception: We adorned the base of each lantern with roses and greenery. A simple, sweet touch that worked beautifully with the Yacht Club’s naturally gorgeous ambiance!

Jennifer + Bruce’s Ponte Vedra Inn & Club Wedding

Jennifer and Bruce are dear friends of ours and it was such an honor to provide them with this stunning floral design for their Ponte Vedra Inn & Club wedding day!  We also provided florals for Jennifer’s shower –  keeping the wedding design under wraps was torture, but seeing her look of elation was worth it! She have us full creative control and we’d say it was a smashing success!

Fantasy Floral Details

Bouquet: A vibrant, coastal spring mix of the most exquisite hot pink ranunculus and spray roses, fuchsia and blush peonies, bright pink and peach garden roses, green mini hydrangea, green hypericum berries, silver dollar eucalyptus

Ceremony: We LOVED this aisle decor. We went high and low- decorating the base of the chairs along the aisle and the edges. Clusters of vibrant hued blooms in orange, pink and lime with cascading orange ribbon adorned the edges of the white chairs. At the base, we created wreaths to surround the adorable seahorse accents.

Reception: We decorated the chandeliers with lush arrangements that included many of the bouquet florals, with the addition of hanging red amaranth. Centerpieces were a mix of hot pink ranunculus and spray roses, fuchsia and blush peonies, bright pink and peach garden roses, green mini hydrangea, green hypericum berries, Bells of Ireland and lots of greenery!
